The Gallaudet campus has closed and students have returned home. You can read more about our response at coronavirus.gallaudet.edu
The university is working hard to soften the individual financial impact on students, which includes the sudden switch to 100% online instruction, loss of dorm residency, food insecurity, storage costs, and travel costs. This fund is dedicated to students’ immediate individual needs, many of which cannot be funded by congressional appropriations, throughout the duration of the pandemic.
While this fund supports all Gallaudet students, you have the option to designate your gift to go specifically to students of color and international students. Your entire donation will be used to support our students in need and is tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.
Gallaudet University is a federally chartered private and premier university for the deaf and hard of hearing since 1864.
