If you use Amazon.com to shop, use Amazon Smile instead and Amazon will donate 0.5 percent of the price of your eligible purchases to the charity of your choice, including Gallaudet! As of August 2017, Amazon Smile Donations has distributed a total of $62,069,818.82 to charities.  

Millions of products are eligible for donations; they are marked,  "Eligible for AmazonSmile Donation." You can use your existing Amazon account to log into Amazon Smile -- the interface is exactly the same, with the wish list, shopping cart, and registries (wedding and baby). The more you shop from AmazonSmile, the more you donate!

Here's how it works:

  • Log in: smile.amazon.com (if you don't have an account with Amazon, set one up).
  • When you are logged in, you will be prompted to select a charitable organization to give to.
  • Scroll down to "pick your own charitable organization" and type in Gallaudet University.
  • Select Gallaudet University.
