Congratulations on your acceptance to Gallaudet University! You are beginning an exciting phase of your life, and we are pleased that you have chosen Gallaudet as your higher education institution.
You are now part of a rich and diverse student body of 200 international students representing 54 different countries. The Office of International Affairs (IA) provides information and services to international students, and works to foster international understanding on campus and in our community. Additionally, IA offers support and assistance regarding visas and other related immigration issues. IA is responsible for helping you maintain your immigration status while you are in the United States. If you are studying at Gallaudet University in an F-1 status, you should familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations governing your immigration status.
