The Education of the Deaf Act (EDA) requires Gallaudet University to submit an annual report—the Annual Report of Achievements (ARA)—to the United States Department of Education every January, covering the accomplishments of the previous fiscal year. The EDA specifies the data and information on our programs and students that must be reported. The report is also used to share information with other groups, such as donors and foundations, but its primary purpose is to meet the EDA reporting requirements.
The research section of the ARA report contains both profiles on research studies as well as scholarly achievements and activities.
To learn what research and scholarly activity submission information needs to be included in the report, please visit ARA Report Submission Information.
