   *   Costs to students for typical academic year for U.S. citizen tuition: $8298 X 2 = $16,596 unit fee: $138 x 2 = $276 Total Cost: $16,872 As of September 2014, the Dean of the Graduate School has offered full tuition waivers to first and second year Ph.D. students.   Most students receive $4,500 per academic year in Department assistantship funding, requiring 10 hours per week of work. The assistantship is offered to students during their first four years of study.

Attrition

Since 2005, 68 students have formally entered the program, and 4 have left without completing their Ph.D. degree for a 6% attrition rate. The following table presents data on students who have entered in the past 7 years:

Licensure Information

Between 2009 and 2015, 33 students graduated with their Ph.D. As of August 2015, 21 were known to be licensed to practice psychology, yielding a Licensure Percentage of 64%. Ten students are either accruing supervised hours in post-doctoral positions, or in the process of preparing to take the license examination. Two students are employed in positions where U.S. licenses are not required.
