If you did check out of your room, you will receive a refund starting from March 18, 2020 to May 10, 2020. This will take time to process and appear in your student accounts. Please allow a few weeks for the refund to be processed.
If you are staying on campus until the end of the semester, you will not receive a refund.
We have limited availability for those who need to extend their stay. We have approved students to stay on campus according to the following criteria:
Yes, if you are currently living in Benson Hall, Clerc Hall, Peet Hall, and Ballard West. The Housing Operations Manager will work with you to relocate to another room in either Carlin Hall or LLRH6.
That's understandable. Each student will not have a roommate or suitemate in the suite they are assigned to. Everyone will remain alone in their suites at Carlin Hall and LLRH6 until the end of the semester.
To ensure everyone's safety, we are not allowing any visitors in any residence halls. If you do not live in the specified residence hall, you will not be allowed to enter. You may only socialize with the residents in your residence hall; however, be mindful of social distancing and remain six feet (or more) away from each other.
The Office of Residence Life has communicated with families who live in campus apartments -- either Kendall Apartments or residence hall apartments. Apartment residents may remain on campus until their leases expire. They may check out earlier, and will not be penalized for checking out earlier and revoking their apartment leases. They will receive their full deposit back if the apartment is in good condition upon check-out, and all other expectations in the lease are met. Apartment residents are asked to indicate their intentions by March 30.
We are working on packing and shipping students' essential items. Updates will be communicated with the students via email.
Non-essential items will be packed and placed in a storage room on campus. To retrieve them from the storage room, students are encouraged to send an email to email@example.com to inquire more about this.

Prescription medicine cannot be shipped due to federal regulations. If you need your prescription medicine, see your primary care provider for another prescription.
Storage will only be available off campus. Students should plan to pack, store, or ship their items before checking out.
