Gallaudet is your home. Whether it is for one semester, or five years, you sleep, eat, relax and study here. If you live off campus, you still spend a lot of your time here getting an education. Many of the services that are offered on campus, such as the post office, food service, student accounts, health services, and interpreting services fall under the Division of Administration and Finance (A&F).

Because the quality of these services have a huge impact on your day-to-day life at Gallaudet, A&F wants you to be satisfied. We are continually reviewing and improving our service to students. Several years go, to gather suggestions and complaints concerning A&F services from students, A&F established the Student Advisory Board (SAB).
The committee is comprised of administrators from various departments within the A&F division, who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to students. The committee convenes as needed to address important issues raised by the student body and/or senior administration. The committee focuses on suggestions and complaints for the services offered by departments within A&F only.

I have an issue with one of the services provided by A&F. What should I do? Send an email to sab@gallaudet.edu to provide "very specific" details of the issue(s) you are having with that service. The more details you provide, that better we can assess and address the issue.
What happens after I submit a suggestion or complaint to sab@gallaudet.edu? Your suggestion or complaint will be acknowledged. You will then be contacted by an administrator who manages the area of your complaint (in a timely fashion) to provide a response.
How long will it take to receive a response to my suggestion or complaint? Our committee takes suggestions and complaints very seriously. Someone will respond in a timely fashion to provide a response and explain next steps.
As a student, how can I get more involved with the SAB work? We welcome the involvement of students and student organizations to provide feedback from the student body related to A&F services! Feel free to contact us.
