Current students can contact Student Health Service at (202) 651-5090 to schedule an appointment. Please make sure you are on time for your appointment so that other students can be seen in a timely manner. To be seen at Student Health Service all students must pay the $125.00 fee for each semester, fall, spring, and summer. Full-time students are automatically charged the Student Health Service fee. Part-time students are not charged automatically and must submit the $125.00 fee directly to Student Health Service or to the Student Financial Services department.
Current students have the opportunity to walk-in to see a healthcare provider Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Students that walk-in to the clinic are seen on a first come first serve basis, unless the student presents with a life-threatening emergency, such as difficulty breathing, chest pain, excessive bleeding, etc.
Please do not email Student Health Service for an appointment. You will not be able to receive a response within an acceptable time frame since the SHS staff are attending to students already present in the clinic. If you wait for a response to an email from SHS regarding an appointment this could potentially delay appropriate medical care. As previously noted, students can schedule an appointment by calling SHS at (202) 651-5090 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. There is always staff available to assist you. If there are no appointments available, students have the option to walk-in to the clinic from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you do walk-in, you will be taken on a first come first basis behind appointments and emergencies. However, in a life threatening emergency please call 911.
