Cultivate the City (CTC), a local enterprise focused on building urban gardens in D.C., is looking for students to help plan and manage the Gally Gardens program. In partnership with Gallaudet, CTC is working with students to expand upon the existing garden by introducing innovative growing techniques and focusing on creating a viable self-sustaining enterprise. As a Gally Gardens intern, you will have the opportunity to influence the way that the garden is operated and how the food grown in the garden is marketed and used. You will also have the opportunity to shape future projects to enhance and expand Gallaudet's urban agriculture offerings.
If you are interested in gaining experience with the technical, economic, and social aspects of urban agriculture, and you don't mind getting your hands dirty, this is a great opportunity for you!
