Michigan English Test (MET) FAQs

What should I bring with me to the testing site?
You must bring a photo ID. You will not be allowed to take the test without a photo ID.  Only documents that have a current photograph and that can also serve as valid national or international identification will be accepted. These include passport, national identification card, driver's license, or a police certificate bearing your name and photograph on it. Expired documents will not be accepted.

What will happen to my cell phone during the test?
Any cell phone, pager, or ringing device will be held by the test supervisor at the check-in location for the duration of the exam.

How soon can I get my scores after taking the MET here at Gallaudet University?
You can expect to wait 4 to 6 weeks before we can send your MET scores via email.

What is the contact information for the MET Testing Coordinator?
