University open for classes

Due to heavy snowfall in Washington, D.C., classes, activities, and athletic events were canceled for several days. However, Gallaudet University is open for classes and all other activities as of Saturday, February 13.

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) will keep the campus informed of further closures and cancellations via the Gallaudet Alert system when they receive updates. In accordance with the University’s Inclement Weather Policy, when the president makes the decision to close, Gallaudet posts notifications on its web site, local inclement weather hot-lines, and local radio and television stations.
