SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Day received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Gallaudet University. She completed her internship in the Child and Family track at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed her post-doctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology at The Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University. She began as an assistant professor in the Clinical Psychology Graduate Program in 2012. She is a reviewer for The Journal of Deaf Studies and Deaf Education. She has been a statistical consultant for various research projects. Her research interests include reading instruction for deaf individuals, adaptation of assessment measures for deaf individuals, and cognitive rehabilitation.
