Juniper UAC Apple Installation Instructions

Apple users will need to use the Safari browser to log into the Gallaudet network. Other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome is not supported at this time.

The following steps need to be taken in order to log into the network:

• Make sure that your Airport (wireless) is turned on
• Select the Airport icon on top right of your computer. Select the appropriate network to log in: BisonNet.
  
  
• Open the Safari browser and visit any website on the Internet such as a news web site or Facebook. You should be redirected to the following website https://network-login.gallaudet.edu. You will be prompted to log into the system. Please type your Gallaudet username and password.
  
  
  
  
• Your computer will attempt to download a host checker tool and you will see a similar page.
  
  
• A window will appear to run the host checker. Please check the "Allow all applets from "network-login.gallaudet.edu" and then select Allow.
  
  
  
  
• A window will appear to execute the host checker. Please click on "Always" - so you will not be prompted to run this program again in the future.
  
  
  
  
• After successfully downloading the host checker, you should see this web page which indicates that you have successfully logged into the Gallaudet network. Please keep this window open to remain logged into the Gallaudet network. You can either open another tab for your web browsing, or use another browser. If you want to log off the system, please click on the top right icon called Sign Out.
