Juniper UAC Windows Installation Instructions - Internet Explorer
This page explains how to log into the Gallaudet network using Internet Explorer. If you desire to use Mozilla Firefox with your Windows computer, please visit the UAC Windows Firefox instructions installation web page.
If you do not have administrative rights on your computer, you will need to follow the steps in order to log into the Gallaudet network:
- Select the appropriate wireless network to log into the Gallaudet network: BisonNet.
- Open Internet Explorer Browser and visit any website on the Internet such as a news website or Facebook. You should be redirected to https://network-login.gallaudet.edu. You will be prompted to log into the system. Please type your Gallaudet username and password.

- If you have successfully logged into the system, you will see this page. Please do not run or install the yellow add-on (also called Active-X Applet) on top of your web browser. This program requires administrative rights and may not work on your computer.

- After waiting about a minute, you should see a new Java window pop-up. Check "Always trust content from this publisher." and then click on Run.

- A new pop-up window should appear. Select Always so you do not need to click on the window every time you log into the system.

- After successfully downloading the host checker, your computer will need to pass our Windows validation requirements. Please refer to the Juniper UAC FAQ for more information on our login requirements. If you see this web page then this indicates that you have successfully logged into the Gallaudet network. Please keep this window open to remain logged into the Gallaudet network. You can either open another tab for your web browsing, or use another browser. If you want to log off the system, please click on the top right icon called Sign Out.
