Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP)
Employees may choose one of the dental plans under the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP). Detailed information on each dental plan can be found here.
Employees pay the full cost toward the premiums. Under FEDVIP, eligible family members include spouses, common law spouses (where such marriages are recognized), unmarried dependent children under age 22, and children age 22 or over who are incapable of self-support because of a mental or physical disability that existed before reaching age 22.
Employees may enroll, chance, or cancel their vision plans online during Open Season. However, some qualifying life events will permit employees to make some changes outside of Open Season. Please click here for a list of qualifying life events.
