MSSD Student-Athlete Support Services

The goal of the MSSD Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS) is to help student-athletes reach their full potential. Our goal is to help each student-athlete thrive educationally by maintaining balance among academic, athletic, and personal growth. We also aim to help all student-athletes develop life skills and study skills, become well-educated, and earn their high school diplomas.

The SASS academic sponsor meets with student-athletes on a weekly basis for the purpose of monitoring their progress. The sponsor is in constant contact with teachers, coaches, and parents regarding each student-athlete's academic progress. The sponsor also reviews each student-athlete's academic status regularly.
