Firl: This past summer, 15 students traveled to Ghana as part of Gallaudet’s Education Abroad program! The students immersed themselves in Ghanaian culture, visited the University of Ghana, and engaged with the local deaf community. Cool!
Hewapathirage-Mayadunne: Alumni Michelle Eisan-Smith is the first-ever deaf Head of School at Boston’s Horace Mann School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She’s now entering her fifth year and more excited than ever. Great job, Michelle!
