Dr. Murray worked in the Office of Development at Gallaudet University from 1997 until the end of 2007, including five years as director. During that time she led two successful capital campaigns raising significant amounts of money, worked with alumni, and increased the national and international profile of the University through strategic partnerships with various constituencies.
 
For the last several years, Dr. Murray has served as senior director, principal and leadership gifts, at Georgetown University. While there, she has been responsible for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting principal and leadership gifts from alumni and other individuals, from their personal foundations, and from select corporations and foundations. Including her prior positions, she returns to Gallaudet University with 22 years of wide-reaching experience in these areas.
