Community Service Programs (CSP) is where students and student organization leaders go to find off campus community service opportunities and receive guidance in searching for service-learning projects.  CSP is also responsible for verifying that student organizations have met their service requirement in order to maintain their status as a recognized Gallaudet student organization.   Community Service Programs also works with faculty members to identify and manage service-learning opportunities.

The University dedicates itself to partnership with non-profit organizations, schools, charities and government agencies to confront the crises generated by poverty, environment degradation and social injustice. By focusing on particular geographic neighborhoods and communities within the District, the University brings its  resources to assist with and resolve some of these crucial issues, thus making a measurable difference to needy citizens, the community and beyond.
