Jill Bradbury is Professor and Major/Minor Coordinator in the English Dept., as well as the university Faculty Development Fellow. She majored in English and Economics as an undergraduate and continues to pursue her interest in economics through her scholarship and teaching. Dr, Bradbury recently participated in an NEH Summer Seminar on the history of political economy at Duke University, and is also pursuing her long-standing goal to receive an MA in Economics. Her research focuses on eighteenth-century British literature and culture (in particular, Anglo-Irish political and economic writing), the novel, and literary theory. She has published articles on eighteenth-century prose genres and Jonathan Swift, as well as co-editing Anglo-Irish Identities, 1571-1845 and has forthcoming articles in Eighteenth Century Ireland and Economic Rationalities. Dr. Bradbury is also working on a book manuscript titled Anglo-Irish Economic Discourses, 1690-1750.
