Short Biography

Amee Powell is a second-year graduate student in Deaf Studies, with a concentration in Cultural Studies. She graduated from Gallaudet University in 2011 with a B.A. in History and a Minor in Writing.

She has traveled to over 20 countries while working abroad as a volunteer and worked as an intern at the Library of Congress for the Office of the Librarian and Public Relations Office. Her interests include history, reading, and learning about other people's cultures and customs.
