Brittany Turner
 
Short Biography

Brittany joined the museum in October of 2013 as a staff researcher and writer.

Brittany graduated in May of 2013 with B.A. in History and a minor in Deaf Studies. Alongside her degree, she graduated with University Honors with her capstone entitled Salary Differentials Based on Gender and Deafness at the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, 1840-1900.

Brittany started working within the museum community with internships at the Library of Congress and the National Museum of American History. She plans to pursue a career in the museum field and will attend George Mason University in the Fall of 2014 to get her Masters in Applied History.
