Navigating to the Student Center

Once you are logged into PeopleSoft, the screen will look like this:

Now, Click on Self Service hyperlink.
Result: The Self Service page with Sub-menu choices appear as below:

In the Self Service page click on "Student Center" hyperlink. You can click on either the Student Center hyperlink in the left Navigation Portal or on the page. Both hyperlinks will navigate to the Student Center page. A sample Student Center page is shown below:

Online Enrollment

The Student Center under the Self Service menu will display your class schedule, to do list, personal information, and links to your academic information.

Adding a class

  1. In the Student Center, click the Enroll link that is located to the left of the class schedule or select Bison Enrollment Add Drop Down from the drop down menu and click the Circle button with double arrows (chevrons) pointing right. icon.

    The "Add Classes" page appears:

  2. If you know the class number you would like to enroll for, enter the class number and press the Bison Enter Button button and skip steps 3 to 5.
  3. To search for a class click the Bison GRN Search Button button. The class search page appears:

  4. For the purpose of this tutorial, we will search for "Accounting" classes. Select "Accounting" from the Course Subject drop down menu and click the Bison Search Button button.

    The list of available accounting classes appears as below:

  5. Select ACC 207 from the list by pressing the Bison Select Class Button button.
  6. The Add Classes page appears with the class details as below:

  7. Click the Bison Next Button button to begin enrolling in this class.
  8. The class will be added to your shopping cart and the page will look like this:

  9. To complete the enrollment process, click the Bison Proceed to Step 2 of 3 button.
  10. You will be asked to confirm the classes you are interested in enrolling in. To confirm, click the Bison Finish Enrolling Button button.
  11. If there are no errors then you will receive a confirmation message similar to the one below:

Dropping a class

  1. In the Student Center, select Bison Enrollment Drop Drop Down from the drop down menu and click the Circle button with double arrows (chevrons) pointing right. icon.

    The "Drop Classes" page appears:

  2. Select the class you would like to drop. For the purpose of this tutorial we will drop ACC 207-01. To do so, click the Bison Check Box checkbox for ACC 207-01.
  3. Next, click the Bison Drop Selected Classes Button button.

    The confirmation page appears as shown below:

  4. If you would like to drop this class, click the bison Finish Dropping Button button.
  5. If there are no errors then you will receive a confirmation message similar to the one below:

  1. What happens if I have trouble resetting my password?

  2. What if I have a class missing from my list, receive an error message when I attempt to enroll, or any other questions regarding the content of online enrollment?

    Contact the Registrar's Office at registrar.office@gallaudet.edu or 202-651-5393 TTY/voice.
  3. Can I save the classes I am interested in and enroll in them at a later time?

    Yes, enter them in to the shopping cart and they will be held until you are ready to enroll in them.
