This is a tour that starts at the Visitors Center and moves counterclockwise around Lincoln Circle. A turn around the circle will give participants a sense of Gallaudet's rich history and a glimpse into the University's future. Historical buildings along with selected newer buildings are included in this tour.

Explore the First Folio! The Book that Gave Us Shakespeare and the Shakespeare in American Deaf History exhibits with a knowledgeable guide. Docent led tours will begin every hour at the top of the hour and run approximately 30-45 minutes. No reservations needed. Contact firstfolio@gallaudet.edu at least two weeks in advance if accommodations are needed, such as voice, tactile or close vision interpreting.

2 - 3:30 p.m. Shakespeare Matters to Our Eyes 
This is an unique panel discussion among alumni discussing their involvement in Shakespeare productions at Gallaudet and professionally. The panelists are alumni who acted in Shakespearean plays at Gallaudet from 1955 to 2012. Deaf West artistic director DJ Kurs, '98, and Steve Baldwin, '68, both will moderate the panel. 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.  Capturing Deaf Heritage Day
"Capturing Deaf Heritage Day" combines the opportunity to digitize your historic images and documents while learning about methods of preservation. This free event is hosted by the Center for Deaf Documentary Studies (CDDS) in collaboration with the Gallaudet University Archives and the Office of Alumni Relations. Bring up to 15 photographs or documents, and have them scanned and handed back to you on a free USB drive. Presentation topics include the care and use of photographs, films, and objects, and the cultural importance of personal collections.

This tour gives alumni an opportunity to see the President's Office, formerly used as dorm rooms for boys for many years, Edward Miner Gallaudet's desk, doorball, and the famous Black Iron Dog among other treasures.Meet at the President's Office to participate in the tour.

Learn the importance of making a Will and debunk some myths you may have heard about making a planned gift. Learn how your planned gift can provide the greatest benefit to you and to Gallaudet. 2 - 3 p.m. Alumni Emeriti Club Induction Ceremony
The Alumni Emeriti Club is for alumni who attended Gallaudet 50 or more years ago. Alumni from classes up to 1966 will be recognized in a graduation-like ceremony and will receive special medallions.

3 - 4 p.m. Portrait Hanging of President Emeritus T. Alan Hurwitz
The hanging of President Emeritus Hurwitz's portrait which was done by the famed portratist Cedric Egeli, whose father, Bjorn, did Leonard M. Elstad's portrait, is set to take place immediately following the alumni emeriti club induction ceremony. This is traditionally done after a President leaves office once his term ends.

4:15 - 5:15 p.m. 11th Annual College Bowl Competition
The alumni team (members of the 50th and 25th anniversary classes) compete in a fun and friendly match with the current Gallaudet College Bowl team (students) to see who has the best trivia knowledge about Gallaudet's history and current events.
