Deaf History Lecture Series

Deaf History Lecture Series: Fall 2013.  The interdisciplinary lecture series will showcase the latest research on the histories of Deaf peoples and communities around the world. October 23 - "The Deaf Community in America: History in the Making" by Dr. Ronald and Melvia Nomeland. Book signing immediately following lecture.  November 20th "Methods Matter: Gathering Life Histories in Tanzania" by Jessica Lee from University of Colorado.  All lectures will be held at JSAC 1011 from 12pm to 1pm.  Sponsored by College of Arts and Sciences, Dept of ASL and Deaf Studies, Dept of History, Philosophy, Religion and Sociology, and with Support from the Gallaudet University Museum.
