Annual Report of Achievement (ARA) Submission Information

Annual Report of Achievements (ARA) Submission Guidelines

Did you do engage in research and scholarly activity during the current fiscal year (October 1 and September 30)? If so, share information about your project by including it in Gallaudet University’s Annual Report of Achievements (ARA.) To accurately represent Gallaudet’s collective accomplishments in these areas for the fiscal year, it is essential that everyone in the campus community report their contributions.

ARA submissions are due by September 11 every year.

Your project information will be shared with the Gallaudet community, including administrators and trustees; members of Congress; and donors and foundations, providing them knowledge of the many far-reaching achievements Gallaudet makes each year.

DO report:
"Achievements" include:
    ·       Research projects
    ·       Scholarly and creative products not associated with a research project but nonetheless enrich higher learning, e.g., publications, presentations, and dissertations

DO NOT report:
    ·       Papers or documents that are incomplete, in progress or ongoing efforts
    ·       Papers and books in draft
    ·       Unpublished documents
    ·       Internal reports, program documents, or curriculum proposals or revisions
    ·       Grant proposals

     ·       Make sure you update every project, and take into consideration information such as:
o   Was the study ongoing in the current fiscal year?
o   Are there changes to the end date (for ongoing studies), project description, investigators, etc.?

Make sure you click the checkbox on  Product-only project?:
Check the box above if this "project" is only used to report products that are not related to a specific project

Research products can only be entered once. In cases where more than one person worked on a research project, it is essential that only one of these individuals report the project in order to prevent duplicate reports. Please determine among yourselves who will enter the project for publication in the ARA.
