Visitors are always warmly welcomed to Gallaudet's historic campus in Washington, D.C. You are encouraged to observe and learn about the many creative programs and services at our world-renowned institution of higher learning that are designed to educate, train, and empower deaf and hard of hearing people and those who work with them. If you have not become familiar with the exciting opportunities Gallaudet has in place for its visitors, please take a moment to review the Visitors Center website.
||It is a pleasure to receive your inquiry about coming to Gallaudet University. After reviewing the information from the Visitors Center website (above) and you find that you need additional accommodations--an American Sign Language interpreter or a meeting with an educational administrator, for example--please fill out the request form so that Research Support and International Affairs can ensure that you receive the optimal benefit from your visit. To allow sufficient time to support services of this nature, requests must be made at least three weeks before a visit. Also, please be advised that due to limited resources, all requests cannot be supported.
